Our Mission
Since 1864, the Edinburgh University Club of London has stood as a beacon for alumni in the capital. Our mission is to preserve the rich heritage of our University while building a forward-looking community defined by fellowship, independence, and mutual support.
University Independence
Operating as a self-governing entity, we maintain our unique identity and independence from the administrative structures of the University.
Non-Political Stance
Maintaining a strictly non-partisan approach to remain a neutral and inclusive ground for all alumni to connect without political bias.

Our Patron
HRH The Princess Royal
The Club's Patron is Her Royal Highness Princess Anne, The Princess Royal, who accepted an invitation to become the Club’s patron shortly after succeeding her late father as Chancellor of Edinburgh University in 2011.
Previously, His Royal Highness the late Duke of Edinburgh held the Chancellorship of the University from 1953. He became the Club’s Royal Patron after the Club celebrated its 125th anniversary in 1989 in his presence.
